About FPL Rival

• Official Fantasy Premier League API (fantasy.premierleague.com) — players, prices, ownership, price-change progress and projections, fixtures, difficulty ratings and points. Publicly reachable but undocumented; it may change or be unavailable at any time (especially around deadlines).
• Our own nightly snapshots — we record prices before and after each price-change deadline to build daily history and measure prediction accuracy. History starts on the day recording began; nothing is back-filled.

• Official FPL A value published by FPL, shown unchanged.
• Recorded by FPL Rival A value FPL published that we stored at a known time.
• FPL Rival estimate Our own calculation or interpretation — always explained next to it.

• Data is cached and shared between visitors: player and price data refresh about every 5 minutes, current fixtures about every minute.
• If FPL stops responding we keep showing the last good data with a warning, or an error — never invented numbers.
• FPL publishes the live match minute and per-player stats but not substitution events. Our live feed is built by comparing FPL's data about once a minute, so events are stamped with the match minute at the time we noticed them.
• Effective ownership ("Top 1k", "Near you") comes from samples of real public FPL teams we collect; live rank compares your live total with FPL's latest overall table. Both are estimates.
• FPL's price signal (−5…+5) is undocumented. We display it as published and measure its accuracy rather than calling it a probability.
• Gameweek points remain provisional until FPL confirms bonus points.
